We know that one of the main variables that can affect the efficiency of Distribution Centers is the timing of demand, since despite the seasons affected by type of industry, when the time comes for a considerable increase in orders. Normally the assortment of products becomes a problem.

For this reason, we give you several important points to follow for the optimization of your assortment:

 

The first thing we recommend you start with is to classify all products by low, medium and high rotation (the typical ABC of products); to then develop projects according to the growth established in your CEDIS, specified in the analysis of the behavior of products by season.

 

Within this dynamism, many times we seek to increase productivity by implementing assortment techniques such as batch selection, selection and pass, zone routing, according to the analysis of your operation will determine the best to apply or multiple according to the zone In this way, efficiency in the assortment of products is enhanced.
