As you saw in the previous blog, both the collaborative robot and the Big Data applications are effective technologies that will help you with intralogistics automation in your e-commerce processes. Today we will share new tools that will help you organize your workflows and allow you to be part of the businesses that remain in service and marketing trends. Let's meet them!

 

3.- Good to Person Technology

The range of Good to Person technologies allow, quickly, that personnel can manipulate valuable information with high quality and speed. Normally they work in the following way: in the workstation, the workflow can not be stopped by the fluidity of the operations, so Good to Person technologies take the product to their hands or bring them closer. The Good to Person range offers certainty, speed and precision.

 

The variability of this type of technology is divided into 3 major areas:

 

- **Storage systems.** This type of tools allows to place the organized products in a warehouse, but to bring them quickly and precisely to the operator when he needs
- **Order assortment systems.** These tools help to make the flow of operations more productive within a workstation. It gives the operation a better decision making, it enhances the processes. Examples of tools that allow this type of intralogistics automation are: Pick to Light, Pick to Voice, and Put to
- The software used must be linked from where the product is ordered, to storage, distribution, cost, sales, and other priority variables. In the process of intralogistics automation and software there is an accurate control of algorithms, which allows to provide valuable information. WES software helps with the coordination of DC, is responsible for linking all automation operations. In many situations it is a complement to the WMS, in others it takes over the operations.
