# What kind of conveyor do you need?

Generally, logistics managers are stressed out by meeting the delivery dates to final clients; therefore, they are not focused on assessing problems in their working place, delaying the process’ analysis and improvement.

1. Too many operators working at the same time.
2. Disorganized processes.
3. Overlapped activities.
4. Errors in consolidated orders.
5. Lack of productivity, operators spend 60% of their time moving from one place to another.
6. High intralogistics cost.
7. Unsatisfied clients.

#### **- Automated solutions**

Once the problem within the Distribution Center is identified, technological solutions are usually implemented. After a detailed analysis, 80% of companies realize that need to improve all areas from supply, where there are thousands of references, to shipping where orders have different destinations.

The most used technologies for boxes’ handling is the Pick to belt, combined with sortation systems. 

This means that the WMC or WCS indicates to the operator the products to be placed in conveyors so these can be taken to the sorter, resulting in assortment towers in different levels or areas.
