# How could you know if your intra-logistics vendor will provide you the appropriate solution?

Analyze these 4 characteristics that your intra-logistics automation vendor should offer you for optimal service. Remember that working with real experts will avoid serious consequences resulting from inconsistent systems.

#### **1.- Online system**

Your vendor should have an online system and you have to be able to access at any time. The following elements should be available:

\- Operation manuals: these have to include, changes made during implementation to help with likely specific problems. For example, who is needed to solve the problem, type of replacement parts, tools and access codes required.

\- Preventive maintenance guide.

\- Failures and solutions guide.

\- List of replacement parts.

\- Maintenance manual.

\- Monitoring

\- Self-diagnosis.

-General technical information for understanding the whole system and design.

It is very important to have this information online, as well as keep it updated with current information (designs, operative description and functional specifications) so all users have access to it as a reliable and quick tool.

#### **2.- Highly-trained support team**

It is essential that any problem in the system can be solved automatically. In other words, it must have a control about events with details such as, the time it was reported, who solved it as well as its status, besides of providing constant feedback about the problem. 

For that reason, your vendor must have an excellent operative logistics about control and execution of events; and above all, highly-trained and up-to-date staff  that help you in your own language and location.

#### **3.- Replacement parts’ warranty**

A vendor without an immediate response structure should not be considered. Replacement parts shall be provided immediately, so your vendor must have a local warehouse of replacement parts.

#### **4.- Remote support**

You have to make sure that your vendor offers remote support or access in order to have the quickest diagnose and correction when possible.
