The adoption of new 4.0 technologies is a key step to build smart supply chains in which all operating conditions are tracked to correctly diagnose each of the automated equipment that the Distribution Center has, so that it is possible to monitor and predict with some time in advance if a team will have failures or if at any point there will be a contingency within DC.   For this, the main logistics 4.0 technologies being used are:   - ##### **IIoT (*Industrial*** ***Internet of Things*)**   The IIoT plays a fundamental role in intralogistics 4.0, since thanks to its technology, all systems can be connected to a database in the cloud so that the information they generate is collected and analysis can be created. data that is reflected in smart dashboards that allow predicting the behavior of teams or even general behavior within DC.   An example of this type of predictive analysis is the heat maps within the Distribution Center, reviewing the points with the highest incidents to prevent when we should design another assortment strategy. - ##### **Artificial Intelligence (AI)** Artificial intelligence is used primarily to analyze all the information collected by the IIoT, since this 4.0 technology allows us to obtain relevant algorithms to analyze the data in a timely manner.   Among the main analyzes carried out with the help of AI, we find the one referring to the behavior of SKUs. AI is a great tool to know the level of rotation of each SKU in a given period, as well as its probability of variation over time. - ##### **(VR) Virtual Reality** Finally, another of the most important technologies of logistics 4.0 is virtual reality, since it turns out to be very useful when designing a DC or when improvements or optimizations are going to be carried out within it.   By giving the opportunity to visualize the effects of optimizing processes through automation or semi-automation systems, virtual reality avoids experimentation at the time of installation, helping to obtain better results.
