Avoiding stoppages in assembly lines to ensure the delivery of the finished product in a timely manner is a goal that every manufacturing plant seeks. But what happens when products require certain curing processes?

## **AS / RS technologies become great allies!**

When in a manufacturing plant it is necessary to carry out certain curing processes, AS / RS equipment is very useful, since they favor a maximum degree of control and synchrony, guaranteeing compliance with the criterion of "first inputs and first outputs ”(FIFO).

 

For this type of process, the use of the Vertical Buffer Module LR35 and the Miniloads stand out, whose main applications are:

 

- ## **Parts storage**

 

In this application, both AS / RS technologies supply the parts that are required along the assembly lines in a precise and efficient way, keeping an exact control of the inventories and the traceability of the products through intelligent software. which, in addition, can be linked to the company's ERP to have global visibility.

  

- ## **As a finished product sequencer**

 

Here, what the AS / RS teams do is that the finished products go into a buffer, where you can set a certain "timer" to different curing processes according to your production requirements.

In this way, the AS / RS allow the products to be automatically directed to the next assembly line that corresponds to them or, to their respective storage area, once all the processes have been completed.

**And what is the difference between the Vertical Buffer Module LR35 and the Miniload?**

  

- ### **Vertical Buffer Module LR35:**
  
   In this equipment the products can be stored in standard containers or in some other compatible with mini-load systems, supporting a maximum of 35 kg. in each container.

- ## **Miniload:**
  
   These equipment is specifically designed to handle boxes or totes (containers with a regular shape) with products up to 300 kg., Providing the ability to take up to two products at the same time.
