#### How does **shoe sorter works?**

This sorter Works as a sub-system because it is always connected to an induction conveyor. It is in this section where camera or bar code reader is placed in order to identify the product before entering to the sortation area. 

Its drive method may vary according to its physical features, the most common are:

- Solenoid valves to bring the item out by means of an air-driven piston.
- By means of servos if higher sortation flow and top output accuracy is required.

#### **What kind of products can sort?**

The shoe sorter is selected according to the kind of products to be sorted, from small and light items to boxes of considerable dimension and weight . Regular boxes and packages are the best.

The system will automatically measure the boxes’ length for determining how many diverters will be used to transport products to output areas. These areas can be motorized, angled, with rollers, etc.; this will be determined based on the rate and product physical features.

In this high-speed system, outputs are wider so accumulation and saturation are avoided.

#### **How the shoe sorter software works?**

The standard software works smartly by managing all operative variables and when the line has reached the maximum accumulation level, the product recirculates.
